Join us at JobHack to find out more about The Scheme 2021

The Scheme is a place for new and different voices; voices that we want to hear more of in publishing. Could yours be one of them?

The Scheme offers 18 paid six-month traineeships across Editorial, Publicity and Sales. It’s open to talents from Black, Asian and minority ethnic groups and lower socio-economic backgrounds.

You don’t need to know about publishing, have a degree, or any particular educational background to apply, though you will need the right to work and train in the UK.

The Scheme will start in late September, with applications opening in the next few weeks.

Curious to find out more?

Join us at two free, interactive JobHack events on 15th April

  • 10:30AM-12:00PM – Get to Know The Scheme
  • 2:30-3:30PM – Scheme Stories

You’ll get to hear from some of our Scheme trainees at Penguin Random House, and ask questions.

If you’d like to attend a live talk, explore the workshops in the menu above and sign up while spaces are available.

You must be over 18 at the time of the event and will not need a camera or microphone to take part. All sessions will have live captioning. Don’t worry if you can’t make the event, we’ll be sharing the videos on our channels over the next few weeks.
